This is a great user friendly product and I commend the authors for making it available as freeware, however there are free HP calculator emulators available for the PPC at www.hpcalc.org that have many more functions and emulate the HP48GX / HP49G.

If I can't buy the HP11C anymore, this is the next best thing. Delete the worthless calculator that comes with Windows and use this.

Excellent calculator. I'm used to using HP calculators, so this feels natural.

Excellent! Job well done. My calculator of choice. A vast improvement on the silly & stupid MS one.

The best freeware calculator i have seen. Very elegant. I wish it could remember my settings when it it turned off, but the file system is ok. The buttons that light up is a great idea for feedback.

Love it.

1. Every time after exit. The calculator wakes up in Scientific notation mode. Would like to see it default to fixed point mode instead of scientific notation mode.
2. Love to have the comma separator i.e. 1,000,000.
Thank you for making it available for the rest of us.

Stunning! Really is finger tip useable. My HP-41CV is still in daily use, and I'm now less worried about it packing up. One tiny little thing would make it perfect: any chance of a thousands seperator?

Haven't bought a HPC just yet but this is the killer app for it for me. The desktop version is just like my long lost HP11C calculator. Simple and wonderfully implemented. Kudos to the author.
