AM TasksPlus shows compact tasks statistics or a detailed list of incomplete tasks grouped by hierarchy (Actual, Due today, Overdue and Future tasks), category, importance, sensitivity, progress or ungrouped(plain list) . Tasks are filtered by categories, importance and sensitivity. Groups are expandable to list the grouped tasks.

Using user defined configuration profiles, various views can be quickly applied to change the Today screen.

Main features:
The plug-in is fully configurable and allows you to set which tasks to show and how to show them, including the possibility to control the number or order of tasks. Runs on Windows Mobile 2003, 2003 SE, 5.0, 6.0 and 6.1 devices with hi-resolution screens and landscape rotation. Square screen devices are also supported.

The plug-in supports 3rd party API calls (namely Agenda Fusion and Pocket Informant PIMs), so you can use your favorite tasks manager to manipulate tasks.

Standard operations as copy view, beam, send to bluetooth, delete task, or make task complete are accessible from Today Screen pop-up menu. Distribution currently contains many languages. Additional language packs are coming.

• Language packs. Distribution currently contains English (included in main library), Czech, Danish, German, Greek, French, Hebrew, Italian, Japan, Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Portugalese-Brasilian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish and Chinese Traditional/Simplified language packs. These packs are not required by the plug-in to run, so you can delete them. Additional language packs are coming.
• It's Free! And always will.

Note:
The plug-in automatically replaces the current Tasks plug-in of the Today Screen. You may also upgrade to a newer version without losing your current settings. If you want to uninstall the plug-in, use the "Remove Programs" dialog in the System Settings tab. By uninstalling the plug-in, all the settings are removed and the previous Tasks plug-in is restored to its original place.

Excellent program! It would be even better if you can highlight task according to states such as priority, category, number of days to due dates, etc.

Not a bad piece of programming, it does what it says elegantly. And that it is free is definately a plus. The only thing I didn't like about the program was its' inability to group task by category, a primary function that I was really looking for. It is nice that it gives me more details than the MS Task PIM but they are just one long list. After taking the time to organize them into categories and folders, I wanted something that would give me a list of those categories with the task listed within that folder. Alas, all I got was one long list that I still had to sort through just like using the inbuilt Task app. I am now seriously considering a commercial program precisely because it groups all task by category. If the the developer would have included that, I would have given if five stars.
